In January 2020 OCA welcomed a new shareholder/director. After 5 years of successful close cooperation in various projects in Asia and Africa, Mr Jürgen Peter has agreed to become part of the management team of OCA. Mr Peter will focus on Hydrology and Climate Change adaptation engineering and will strengthen the GIS capacity within OCA.
The Consortium of GOPA -Infra, OCA and ILKH have sucessfully completed the project preparation study for the RID4CAM in Cambodia. This 85 million Euro rural Infrastructure project will be managed by the Ministry of Rural Development with financial support from KfW, AFD and the EU. Project implementation is expected to start later in 2020.
The RDP2 programme in Myanmar is managed by the Department of Rural Roads under the Ministry of Construction. KfW provides financial support and the implementation consultant is the association of Gopa-Infra, OCA and Suntac Technoilogies. This successful Rural Development Project, with focus on rural road improvement, will receive a further extension with phase VI, also targeting Taunggyi Disctrict. The scoping and preparation of this last phase in Shan State South will commence in March and preparation and implementation support will be provided by the same consortium of consultants.
